Portraits of women is what I do right, but in December I was asked to photograph something a little different, something super special.
My good friend Tiffany of Healthy Wealthy Wonderful was expecting her second child and asked if I would be like to be there for the birth and photograph it for them.
I was so honoured that she asked me to document this special time for them, and as a mum myself, I know that you get into a zone and everything is just one big blur afterwards. So having photos and seeing all the support & love that’s around during this time is pretty cool to look back on.
Tiff did such an amazing job and it was all over and done within about 1.5 hours. Her husband Tuks & her mum were such a wonderful support crew for Tiff, it was so lovely to see.
It’s not something I would do for anyone, but sharing this special day with my friend and giving her these memories is a day I will never forget. Seeing little Luca arrive into this world was one pretty magical moment.
