A FEW SHORT RANDOM MUSINGS!

A few short random musings of late.

Take what lands, leave what doesn’t.

1. Don’t let the world knock the life out of your babies, your children. But first, don’t let the world knock life out of you. Come back to you and show them the way.

2. Find the newness in all you wish to last. The newness in the same thing. Your work, your relationships, yourself. Newness keeps things fresh, newness accepts and adapts to change.

3. Full circle. You may come back to the same way, the same space, but you will never return the same.

4. Know what you bring to the table in your work and relationships, instead of only what you can get, take, gain.

5. We all need people, we all need each other. We all heal and grow better together, with the right people. Don’t fall into the trap of believing you don’t need anyone, that you’re better doing it on your own. That’s simply your suit of armour speaking.

6. Don’t let the year tire you. Tire you of trying to do everything, be everything, have everything. Go after all you wish, but give space in-between to pause, relax and enjoy life for all it is. Give space for time out and fun.

7. Share your vulnerable, heartfelt messages in-person or in a letter, not through technology. Pauses, space, time, words, can all be mis-interrupted, leaving the most important things left unspoken. We need more than instant words back & forth to understand, we need the pauses, the space to process. We need to see and hear them to truly understand them. Don’t let technology distance you, instead step into the uncomfortableness of intimacy that connects you.

8. Look for or remember, some beauty, some goodness every single day and note it down, you will start to see how good life really is.
