I treated myself to an early mothers day gift a couple of weeks ago and that was to have some portraits taken in the studio with my girls and boys.
I love the style of photography I do and I love being able to create images for all the women I get to photograph and I too really wanted the same for me and my kids.
On my 21st birthday, Summa and I had portraits taken in this style of photography so having it done with my 3 other kids was something I really wanted.
One of my make up artists, Dom, was trained in this style of photography in Auckland and when I saw her work I knew I wanted her to photograph us and she so kindly agreed. Dom made the experience so much fun and her patience with my little boys was amazing (haha they just wanted to play).
Being on the other side of the camera is definitely a different experience, but with Dom’s direction she made it a special session that we really enjoyed. Here are just a few from our session.
