Don’t loose your playfulness in amongst life.

The other day during my daughter’s swimming class I got talking to a lady, our kids also go to the same daycare.
She was telling me how she’s now doing ballet classes and has a show coming up in July.
She hasn’t done ballet since she was a young teenager. I could tell she was pretty happy to be back dancing.
She mentioned how she doesn’t have the body type as you’d expect of a ballerina, but she is excited to have her daughters see her in the show and she is having so much fun doing it.
What I loved about her story is that she decided to do something that she remembered enjoying in her younger days. It didn’t’ matter that she didn’t have the so called typical ballerina body. The fact that she was doing what she loved, and it brought her so much joy, was enough.

As we grow older, we tend to loose our playfulness in amongst life.
We stop having real fun, thinking we don’t have the time, that we shouldn’t do certain things now we are adults or that we should put other things first.
When you do something you love, you shine.
You’re more happier, which in turn gives you more energy for more things in life.
It gives you the opportunity to meet new people & develop new friendships.
She really got me thinking about all the things I love but don’t do.

What’s something you’ve always wanted to do, start or revisit?
What’s something that excites you when you think about it?
Why not look into it, put some fun, some excitement, some joy back into your life.
When you do, when you put joy back in your life,
You feel so much more happier and alive.

Don’t let your age, your body or other people’s opinion stop you from doing what you love.
Do it for you.
