You’ve got to let yourself get amongst life and pull back on sitting around thinking about what you’re going to do, how you’re going to do & what it’s all going to look like when you do…Actually get up and do. Hiding from life solves nothing.
You’ll hear people say, start being and stop doing, doing, doing…
And sure, yes to a point. But how about start being in the doing, there’s a difference.
The difference is having awareness of yourself, of others & your surroundings in each moment…touching as many of your 5 senses as possible along with bringing curiosity to the table too.
We are made to move, too physically do, too limits beyond what we give ourselves credit for. The world will show you what is required for you to heal, reflect on within yourself, let go of, adjust, when you start showing up to life.
Sitting around thinking about it all too often, only slows things down and that’s how life passes you by. Too much sitting and working on yourself, thinking there’s all these things to fix, work on, heal, is holding you back and makes life feel even harder. When you live this way, you will always find something you think that needs fixing (you’re making that part of you wrong, it’s not) – it’s an illusion and causing more harm than good.
Life isn’t calling you to change, you’re being called to step into your truest self & bring out who you already are, who, when you’re on your own, know yourself to be, you are being called to start living, and as you live, you naturally start healing the parts of you that are being brought to the surface.
Step into the unknown, to places you’ve never been…and you are given the opportunity to feel the sensations in your body & learn the difference between the many that can arise & what they each mean. Which then brings you to learn how to work with each one & what you need in each moment.
Step into love…and you are given the opportunity to learn what triggers you, how you communicate, how you love & wish to be loved, how to work with another. Each step, learning, unfolding something new for yourself.
Step into a new career…and you are given the opportunity to learn where your strengths & weakness are. How to ask for support. The environment, times, you work best in. Learn & unfold new skills that can take you to new levels.
Step into a community…and you are given the opportunity to learn how to relate to different people, with different backgrounds, beliefs. What triggers you in different spaces & how to navigate them. How to build new relationships as an adult. How you communicate & where you may wish to improve. How to pull forward the confidence in you.
Step into any area of your life…there are around 8 areas. Let yourself show up to it, be in it, see it with eyes wide open like every part of it is new to you…what do you see, what do you notice about where you are, who you are being. What worries, scares you. What brings you joy. What triggers you. What brings out the best in you.
Each time you step into life, you are presented with the opportunity to bring forward who you are. The opportunity to see your current limits and practice as many times as it takes to push through to become the person you know at your core yourself to be, your best self.
Stop sitting on the sideline of your life…get amongst it & you will see & learn so much more about yourself.
You’re an amazing human, with beautiful qualities, bring it all forward for more to enjoy.
