October is breast cancer month so I thought I would introduce you to a special person – my Mum, a breast cancer survivor.

My mum loves to dance, is an amazing seamstress, makes a new friend nearly everywhere she goes, she gets compliments on her hair every week (even though she’s not a fan), she has a great style and is forever bringing us chocolate.

Mum is the third member of her family to have had breast cancer. Both her grandmother + aunty are both survivors.

So make the most of every day. Enjoy the little things just as much as the big. Speak kindly, smile and be whoever you want to be.
